Join a group of leaders who make summer camps happen by organizing 5 weeks of summer enrichment camps, recruiting volunteers to direct camps, teaching lessons, and leading small groups.

Be that special person in a child's life by mentoring a student at Dishman McGinness Elementary School, one of the Foundry’s key partners. Every student at DMES needs a mentor—someone who cares, helps with school work and encourages them.

Give children individualized attention and help with homework in the Foundry's after-school program; Monday through Thursday 3:00-4:30. You can be that person that every child looks forward to seeing.

Summer Camp Leadership Team

Ms. Vicky volunteered at Summer Camp and she had a seemingly perfect group. After the first day, a difficult student was moved into her group in the hopes that being with older kids would encourage him to behave. There were several times in the day that they had to have one on one conversations about reactions and behaviors.  As the week ended, those talks touched Ms. Vicky's heart so much.  The Lord was healing her own heart as she spoke with this young man, a reminder her of her own son.  A picture of unconditional love and patience being poured out on him as well as her own heart.

Lend your expertise to the numerous activities that take place at the Foundry Preschool Academy. Opportunities for this exciting venture will be tailored to each volunteer.

If you like to organize, you might be just the person to help with mailings, scheduling the facility or a variety of other administrative assistance opportunities that are crucial to making everything run smoothly.
